The Role:
Reporting to the VP, Sales, the Regional Director, East will lead a team of 4-6 quota carrying sales professionals. In addition to leading their team, the RD will have an individual sales quota along with other individual, team and company objectives related to new revenue, revenue retention, and deeper market penetration. The incumbent can be based out of Toronto, ON or Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, coach and direct a team of sales professionals through strategic and tactical sales processes related to prospecting, qualifying and closing enterprise sales opportunities
- In conjunction with the VP, Sales the RD will develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue
- Generates and achieves quarterly territory revenue goals
- Provides accurate and reliable revenue forecasting for the territory
- Conducts weekly account progress meeting with his/her sales team
- Ensures that sales processes, policies and guidelines are followed and ensures that our sales CRM is fully and effectively utilized
Skills and Experience:
- You have 7+ years of proven and a successful track record in an enterprise software sales environment, specifically related to discrete manufacturing and process manufacturing
- You have a minimum of 3+ years proven sales leadership experience, leading, coaching and mentoring your team to achieve quota and beyond
- You have a deep understanding of/and ability to sell complex products, preferably to Fortune 500 companies
- You have a BA/BS, or equivalent post secondary education and experience
- You have superior communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- You have reference-able past employers, customers, peers
