PHA-Pro has enabled us to run HAZOPS for more complex systems where we would previously have used an external chairman and scribe. In this way it has saved money and enabled us to build HAZOP expertise internally. It is also enabling us to conduct HAZOPS on smaller, lower-risk systems where previously we would have used a more ad-hoc safety review. In this way we are increasing our use of the HAZOP methodology and expect to benefit as a result from improved safety and operability.
