Dyadem Chosen as Finalist for Product of the Year by Plant EngineeringToronto – October 3, 2008 – Dyadem, the market leader in Quality Lifecycle Management and Risk Lifecycle Management solutions, today announced that its Stature software product has been named a finalist in Plant Engineering’s 2008 Product of the Year competition. The Stature QLM software, which helps organizations manage quality across their design and manufacturing processes, is a finalist in the Productivity and Training software award category, that recognizes software that improves the efficiency of plant operations. Plant Engineering magazine organizes the product of the year competition to honor new products in the plant engineering market.
“The Product of the Year finalists are chosen by a distinguished panel of plant engineers and plant managers who carefully review each entry to determine the best innovations for plant engineers in the past year,” says Jim Langhenry, publisher of Plant Engineering, “Dyadem's Stature platform was one such product that impressed us in its ability to improve the productivity of plant operations. Congratulations to Dyadem for being named a finalist.”
Dyadem’s Stature is a web-based, enterprise Quality Lifecycle Management platform that helps organizations standardize their quality processes across plants and geographies, ensuring that knowledge is shared and that issues are visible and linked back into the design improvement process. Stature provides a simple end-user configuration and data model that mitigate the hundreds of spreadsheets and documents that manage plant quality planning data. Stature allows for a centralized workspace that reduces redundant information, ensures cross-functional collaboration, and enables continuous improvement through end-to-end management of the quality lifecycle. Stature is used by companies such as General Motors, Boston Scientific, and Amgen.
“It is an honor to be considered as a finalist for this distinguished award,” said Kevin North, President and CEO of Dyadem, “Dyadem is committed to providing engineers with the ability to collaborate in the design and manufacturing environments, and to give companies the ability to identify, measure and mitigate quality issues early in the product lifecycle.”
The finalists will be announced in the November 2008 issue of Plant Engineering, allowing their distinguished readers to vote on the winners via an email ballot. For each of the 18 categories there will be a Gold, Silver, and Bronze award, plus a Grand award that is given to the recipient of the highest number of votes. The awards will be distributed at a black-tie reception at the Manufacturing Summit on Monday evening, March 30, 2009, in Charleston, South Carolina.
