Software Magazine Ranks Dyadem as one of the World’s Largest Software CompaniesToronto – September 22, 2009 – Dyadem today announced its inclusion on the Software Magazine’s Software 500 ranking of the world’s largest software and service providers, now in its 27th year. Dyadem is ranked 390, and has been consistently recognized as one of the technology companies to watch.
“The 2009 Software 500 results show that revenue growth in the software and services industry was healthy, with total Software 500 revenue of $491.3 billion worldwide for 2008 representing 8.8% growth from the previous year,” says John P. Desmond, editor of Software Magazine and Softwaremag.com.
Dyadem’s enterprise software platform, Stature, helps organizations reduce process safety risks and product and process failures. This results in improved health and safety compliance with the goal of zero incidents, and the ability to produce high quality products that conform to both design and regulatory requirements. From 2008-2009, Dyadem grew overall company revenue by 42 percent. Its customers are able to automate critical quality and risk management processes and gain visibility into the risks introduced by rapid changes in a company’s production, staffing and supply chain.
“Dyadem has worked hard to meet our customers’ most pressing business needs and our tremendous five-year growth proves that risk management is something that companies in every industry struggle with. It’s an honor to be named one of the world’s largest software companies by Software Magazine,” said Kevin North, President and CEO, Dyadem.
The Software 500 is a revenue-based ranking of the world’s largest software and services suppliers targeting medium to large enterprises, their IT professionals, software developers and business managers involved in software and services purchasing. Some 44 percent of the 2009 Software 500 companies are privately held.
The ranking is based on total worldwide software and services revenue for 2008. This includes revenues from software licenses, maintenance and support, training and software-related services and consulting. The financial information was gathered by a survey prepared by King Content Co. and posted at
