Course Description
This course teaches all the material from the PHA-Pro® software training course and adds an in depth component on the Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) methodologies and discussions on how to lead PHA sessions effectively. This course focuses on what to do when during the different process, with emphasis on HAZOP and What If/Checklist variations, and illustrations on time management and task delegation. Using PHA-Pro, attendees will learn to accommodate an immense variety of PHA methodologies for the effective management of the PHA process, PHA study documentation and follow-up.

Participants who complete the course will have significant knowledge of most PHA methodologies and their applications including HAZOPs, how to lead PHA sessions effectively, dealing with various personalities of the multi-disciplinary PHA team, how to avoid traps while conducting HAZOPs and PHAs and enhance productivity.

Course instructors are industry experts from the fields of risk management and assessment, chemical engineering, engineering design and development, and projects execution, who will educate the participants and share their real-life PHA experiences.
