Dyadem Honored in Three Categories in Seventh Annual International Business Awards
Toronto, Ontario – July 15, 2010 – Dyadem today announced it has earned three Distinguished Honoree medals in the 2010 International Business Awards. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in business. Dyadem has been honored in the following categories: Most Innovative Company of the Year in North America; Marketing Department of the Year; and Executive of the Year in North America for Dyadem’s President and CEO, Kevin North.
Nicknamed the Stevie® for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented at a gala dinner on Monday, September 27, in Istanbul, Turkey. Honorees were selected from more than 1,700 entries received from organizations and individuals in more than 40 countries.
Organizations all over the world are eligible to compete in more than 40 categories from Multinational Company of the Year and Best New Product of the Year to Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year and Executive of the Year.
Dyadem, through its software and services, helps some of the world’s largest companies establish an Enterprise Risk Management strategy and comply with various industry regulations and standards. In 2009, Dyadem won the International Business Award for Marketing Department of the Year, and was named a finalist in three other categories, including Executive of the Year, Sales Department of the Year, and Most Innovative Company. Proving its success again this year, Dyadem’s creativity in marketing initiatives, software development, professional service activities and innovative leadership has allowed the company to continue to grow its satisfied customer base and increase brand recognition.
These awards follow Dyadem being named in June as one of Canada's fastest growing companies by PROFIT magazine and as the 2010 Corporate IT Hero by the Information Technology Association of Canada (ITAC). It also follows Kevin North's recognition as an upcoming finalist for Ernst & Young’s 2010 Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
“Despite the harsh economic climate, entries to the IBAs actually grew a bit this year, and that illustrates the increasing importance of The International Business Awards worldwide,” said Michael Gallagher, president of The Stevie Awards, presenters of the IBAs. “We congratulate all of the honorees, and we look forward to recognizing them for their achievements at our gala awards dinner in Istanbul on 27 September.”
“It is truly an honor to be among such well-respected companies recognized for their impressive achievements in business,” said Kevin North, President and CEO, Dyadem. “Dyadem works with some of the largest global corporations to minimize their risk and create greater visibility into their businesses. It is a testament to our continued success to be recognized and honored in three IBA categories in 2010.”
