Phoenix Park Gas Processors Selects Dyadem Stature for Enterprise-wide Risk Assessments
Toronto – March 24, 2010 – Dyadem’s Stature Workgroup solution has been selected by Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited (PPGPL) to help manage its risk assessment processes on a single web-based platform. PPGPL is an excellence driven, customer focused, Trinidad and Tobago company whose core business is natural gas processing, NGL aggregation, fractionating and marketing. Stature Workgroup was chosen to provide PPGPL with a flexible, configurable software solution that allows it to more efficiently conduct risk assessments, without restricting it to one methodology or template.
PPGPL will be able to conduct both Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) studies in Stature Workgroup, the entry-level risk assessment platform from Dyadem, the market leader in Operational and Quality Risk Management. Stature Workgroup’s web-based platform and database will ensure that all of PPGPL’s employees can access, edit and update data, ensuring that all stakeholders - from technicians to executive management - have visibility into the risk assessment processes. Stature Workgroup also ensures that best practices and lessons learned from previous risk assessments are available for employees, new and old, to learn from.
“We had been using Dyadem’s PHA-Pro desktop software but it was time for us to scale up into a web-based platform for all of our risk assessment data. We take pride in ensuring that safety is our number one priority and Stature will give us better transparency into our processes,” said Fyzal Dela Rosa, Safety Superintendent, Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited. “By moving to Stature Workgroup for most of our work, we have a single database that stores and leverages our risk assessment data from year to year and project to project. We can review historical information and data from colleagues and very easily generate reports for our management team. Most importantly, we can use any methodology because Stature Workgroup can be easily configured to our needs, as opposed to our company having to modify our business practices, which would have been the case had we selected any of the other software systems that we evaluated.”
Stature Workgroup allows small teams to create, share, and access risk assessments via the web. Most desktop software packages store risk assessments on individual computers, restricting the ability of other users to re-use information and share knowledge. By using a centralized database and Web-based interface, Stature Workgroup ensures that information is retained for future studies and new employees.
“In order to continuously improve their risk assessment processes, companies like PPGPL need a system of record that can efficiently manage the volumes of operational risk data and share best practices across the organization,” said Kevin North, President and CEO, Dyadem. “With Stature Workgroup, PPGPL will be able to more easily manage its operational risk data and foster more collaboration among its employees and trainees. What this translates into is the ability to make more informed decisions, faster, and with an unprecedented degree of confidence."
