Course Description

Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) provides an estimate of the risks posed as well as enabling risk mitigation methods to be evaluated so that risk can be reduced to acceptable levels. This training course examines the techniques required to quantify risk assessments to both evaluate and minimize risk both internally and externally to the outside community. The topics covered in the course include:

 

  • Hazard Identification
  • Consequence Analysis, including loss of containment calculation, explosion modelling, fire modelling, and dispersion modelling
  • Frequency Analysis
  • Quantifying Risk, by using techniques such as Probit Analysis
